Impact
The impact will be minimal, however, we will need to bring down the Exporter service for the duration of the maintenance. Therefore, no exports of orders can be done during this period. The maintenance period should be roughly one (1) hour.
Why?
The purpose of this maintenance is to migrate our Redis cluster from AWS’ Virginia region (us-east-1) to their Ohio region (us-east-2). This migration is for two reasons: 1) to reduce geographic discrepancies between infrastructure, and therefore improve (decrease) overall latencies for the API, and 2) move to a historically more stable AWS Region.
